Gvaramadze IP Law Firm continues to deliver high precision enforcement services, successfully coordinating several significant suspensions of counterfeit goods at the Georgian border throughout late 2025.
In close cooperation with the Customs Department of the Revenue Service of Georgia, our firm intervened in a high-volume case to protect our clients' intellectual property rights:
Multi-Purpose Lubricant Products (Trademark: WD-40) Intercepted 16,800 units of counterfeit Multi-Purpose Lubricant Products in spray bottles. The shipment from Iran was suspended to prevent the entry of infringing goods into the local market.
These interventions highlight the firm's ability to act decisively within strict statutory windows. Our team provides comprehensive legal representation in border enforcement matters, including managing the simplified procedure for the destruction of counterfeit goods and pursuing subsequent litigation to protect our clients’ commercial interests.
